Mercatura Productions has just completed the short film 'Old Dog' starring David Soul and Sean Brosnan. This film showcases the work of Arran Bowyn, and was shortlisted at the Soho Rushes Short Film Festival 2006.
You can see Old Dog at the Raindance Film Festival in London in September and the Edinburgh Film Festival.
Synopsis:
"Y'see, the problem with life is that it's all about making choices".
'Old Dog' is an ironically dark and funny tale, which explores the challenges of choices and consequences; that in a moment we can make a decision that can change the course of our lives, and that inevitably, we will all face the consequences of our life's actions.
For the dysfunctional brothers Chaney, Stoker and Harker Gray, their nemesis is Sal, a dark and menacing feminine presence, the embodiment of their brotherly conscience who pursues them, and mocks them, until one-by-one they are forced to face their choices...and themselves.
